[Freeman] NEW YORK - Pilot OK after plane makes hard landing at Columbia County Airport

"A pilot who was practicing landings escaped injury after apparently forgetting to deploy the landing gear on his single-engine plane at the Columbia County Airport, the county Sheriff’s Office said Monday. Deputies responded to a reported fuel spill at the airport about 6:15 p.m. Saturday and found it was the result of a hard landing, Sheriff David P. Bartlett said."
